Findings and procedure details: We performed a retrospective review of 10 patients who met both clinical and imaging criteria for spontaneous intracranial hypotension in the last 9 years. All of them showed characteristic findings in brain MRI. Most of them (9 of 10) underwent spinal MRI, but none of them demonstrated direct signs[...]

Conclusion: Invasive techniques such as CT Myelography are still useful in showing CSF leakage when MRI does not depict the dural gap. Identifying the underlying cause of this syndrome might lead to a more appropiate treatment.
