Learning objectives: ・To review the anatomy of adrenal gland   ・To summarize the image findings of calcification in adrenal gland caused by different  pathogenesis.  

Background:  Nowadays, with the widespread use of CT scanning, the frequency of adrenal calcification discovered by abdominal imaging is increasing. Findings and procedure details: 1. Hemorrhage (Fig.1, Fig2)  The adrenal gland is highly vascular and vulnerable to hemorrhage. 50 to 60 arterioles derived from the three main adrenal arteries forms the subcapsular plexus. Conclusion: Because of the common use of CT, adrenal calcification is becoming a more common imaging feature to encounter. To be familiar with the morphology of adrenal calcification is helpful for radiologist to understand the patient history and to guide proper patient management.
